The soul’s dark nights refer to the dark’s luminosity. To those stages in life of any human being in which its soul is in transition, getting regenerated or waking up and implies one or more intern changes.
The work is determined by being experiential and experimental, usually the artist investigates, moves to the place of interest, is steeped in the experience and the thought of which it is an object, however, in this work the issue rested on more on the artist and the painting became a necessity to materialize this inner development.
We learn to love ourselves when we meet us in the most luminous place but also in the darkest of our being. The work evokes that dark beauty, that black sun. The soul of light, of life.
